5th Grade Art

These turned out awfully cute and I wanted to share them on Pinterest too so I decided to post here so I could pin them.  Kind of crazy.  The one on the top is my very favorite, she actually braided the paper, isn't that creative?  She also did plaid mittens and a hat.  After so many years of teaching first and second grade, 5th graders impress me!  What might take 2 hours or more in first grade can take 20 mn and that's about how long it took us to make these.

This is the big window in our school's commons area.  The Christmas concert is on  Monday and these will be perfect.  I found the music paper in the recycled paper box in the copy room and turns out they were the 5th grade Christmas songs so I had to make these.  I got the idea from Shari's Pinterest craft category.  If you aren't into Pinterest yet, what are you waiting for?!
