No plans for today. It's nice to have the day off. I'll have to update my blog later with a couple pictures of Grant & Gracie. Our house seems so quiet with them gone.
I wanted to let you know that I watched "The Secret Life of Bees" this afternoon. I liked it. The cast was very appealing. I loved the pink house and everything in it. Their clothes were great and the outdoor scenes were really pretty. I wonder why there wasn't more buzz (pun intended) about this movie. It never even showed in Hibbing and now that our theater has eight screens almost everything gets here eventually.
I thought it was a wonderful movie too, extremely well cast. My book club went in the fall and everyone loved it. I don't know why so many good movies get ignored, maybe there wasn't enough violence or nudity. I wondered why I had never heard of Miss Potter after I saw that one too. It was obviously made for someone like me. :)
I just bought the DVD of "Secret Life of Bees" and haven't watched it yet. Your comments make me want to forgo Idol tonight and make it Mom's Movie Night. I doubt I'll win that one, but it will be on my list of things to do this weekend! Shelly
