Calm night-full moon & fire

It was a perfect night for a boat ride or a bon fire so I let Dan decide and he picked the fire. It was just a beautiful calm evening and then the moon came out and it was a full moon so it was perfect. Our neighbors came over for the first time all summer and we had a glass of wine with them and caught up on all the happenings on the Point. There is a rumor that our Sandy Point bear was poached and that makes me very sad but maybe it's not true or there was more than one. Also found out that there is a bobcat around and that the 20 turkey babies are still thriving and are almost full size. Haven't seen them for a few weeks since I last posted the picture. The big orange house two doors down sold for a pretty reasonable price to a family of 7! That's all the news for now. Good night-here's hoping there will be many more days like this in Sept and October.
