Look at the flower bed in front of the windows below. My poor hostas, sedum, hydrangeas, peonies and more have been trampled down to nothing. I hope they will come back next spring. That stupid arborvitae or whatever it's called survived though. Nothing can kill that thing.

What trampled your flower beds? The windows look great!!! We looked at our photos of our visit with you last night. The twins can't wait to go back and see you! They still talk about the "house on the water" their idea of paradise! (Ours too!)
You can't kill hosta's. they will come back just as thick next year, maybe even better. Kris
Men trampled my flower beds and heavy shingles before that. This time of year it really doesn't matter.
