Storm photo's

Tree limb in the front yard. We had around 10 that we had to take care of.
My favorite tree, our old Blue Spruce, lost it's top. Dad says it will grow from the top, I hope he's right.
Jon Nelson's corn was flattened in this field. He said it was very dry and his better corn stood up to the wind much better. I took this picture on the way to get chicken for dinner in Ashby. Ashby showed no signs of damage in town. Pelican Lake looked fine too, just 5 miles away from us.
Here's another view of Junior's cabin. His patio is pretty much destroyed. They were sleeping down there when the storm hit. They have two holes in their roof.
Here's a close up of our hero, Bill, up in his cherry picker. We're so happy he was able to come out and help us today. He's kind of "retired" from the tree business but dusted off his equipment today.
In case you are wondering, Jan's cabin is just fine. They are in Green Bay this weekend. Their sailboat tipped over though and the sail is all ripped up. Their kayaks were thrown about 100 feet and are fine. Their redwood lawn furniture was in pretty bad shape too. They had no trees down.

Amazing pics.
We finally got power last night at 8:00 pm having gone without since early Sat. am (3:00). The neighbor hood looks like a bomb went off.
Very sad-- many trees and limbs down. White knuckled the storm last night as well--wind, a little bit of hail, etc.
