I purchased some old Lang calendars to use for bulletin boards at school. If you have old calendars that you would like to donate, I will gladly take them! Besides decorating, they can be used for writing & made into books or be used as art inspiration. Nature, farming, pets, almost anything works. It's a great way to recyle them. Christmas/Birthday cards are things we can make good use of in the classroom.

Calendars are never thrown in our house either. They are just way too useful in the classroom. Since we use the story "I Love Guinea Pigs" in school, I was thrilled to get a guinea pig calendar for something like $3 in January. I don't think I told you about that one. After 2008 is over it will become part of a bulletin board.
