Lorraine and Rosemary
Cousins and classmates in a one room schoolhouse in Hadenville, Mn. until 9th grade. They were the only students in their grade for a while. We had a wonderful time spending our day with Rosemary. She is a very interesting and fun person to visit with.

Mom with Lady Liberty

Rosemary and Lorraine inside Ellis Island sitting on some of the immigrant benches in the Great Hall which was used for all of the processing. We spent a couple of hours looking at photographs, viewing artifacts and reading quotes from the millions of immigrants that passed through. We had lunch here too.

Taking a morning stroll on Friday before boarding the ferry to Liberty Island. It was a gorgeous morning and this is on the west side of lower Manhattan.

Here's a picture from the ferry on our way back to Manhattan.
